All scouts and leaders are required towear their uniform to all pack and council events. We have twouniforms: the standard blue uniform (optional tan for Webelos) called"Class A" and a blue-and-gold t-shirt called "ClassB." Either the Class A or Class B uniform must be worn at allevents, unless specifically instructed otherwise.

     The Class A uniform may be purchasednew from the Pittsburgh Scout Shop, located at Flag Plaza (beside theCivic Arena parking lot site). Pack 52 DOES NOT require the purchaseof the pants, socks, belt, or neckerchief slide. Neckerchiefs andhats are optional for most events but should be worn at formal eventssuch as the Blue & Gold Banquet, and council events. The Class Auniform is also required to be worn while selling popcorn and atSwissvale Community Days and Edgewood Day.

     The Class B uniform is a tie-dyedt-shirt that we made at the beginning of the summer. It should beworn to all summer events unless specifically requested to wear yourClass A or casual clothing. The pack has a small number of adult andyouth t-shirts available for $2 apiece. We encourage all familymembers to wear their pack t-shirts to all public events, such aspicnics in the playground.

     As the cost of a new uniform can berather expensive, we encourage you to purchase a used uniform onCraigs List, eBay, or a local thrift store. In addition, the packoccasionally has used uniforms. We recommend buying a YOUTH LARGEshirt, even if your son is a Tiger. The badges are sewn onto theuniform and it can be a pain to remove them and sew them onto a newuniform. A YOUTH LARGE shirt should fit most boys until they areWebelos, or maybe until they finish Cub Scouts.
