Belt loops and Pins

The scouts their families are more than welcome to continue their scout lessons by working on belt loops and pins. Go to google and type in cub scout belt loops and pins, there will pop up all the listings for all the belt loop and pin activities. Run your cursor over the selected topic and click once for the list of requirements to come up. Follow the instructions for requirements for both the belt loop and pin sections. Once the requirements are completely covered, the Akela can contact the Den Leader with the communication that the activity is complete. Please remember that this is all done on the honor system and that no one will be checking to see if the requirements are completed, unless the activity is completed in a group setting.

** I have plans to cover the following belt loops and pins as a group: Marbles, Pet Care, Collecting **

If the scouts are involved with sports, please take a peek at the requirements to see if they have earned the right to claim their belt loops and pins. ie.... Soccer, basketball, baseball, hiking, etc..

Electives

Dear Scouts & Akela's,

Families and scouts are ENCOURAGED to work on electives in the back of your wolf handbooks at home. Completing these electives will earn the scouts arrow points to be granted at the Pack meeting during the awards. For first 10 arrow electives that are completed the scout will earn a Gold Arrow Point, then for every 10 more completed electives the scout will earn a Silver Arrow Point. Again, this is based on the honor system and the Akela's will have to sign off on the elective and bring to the Den Leaders attention for completion.  All den meetings will include  some elective activities for these credits but PLEASE work through them with your cub at home too and let us know of your adventures!!
