Steps to Re-Register a Girl or Adult

We encourage parents to register their daughters, and themselves, as members of the Girl Scouts.  The process varies depending on whether the girl or adult has been registered with Girl Scouts of the Nation's Capital before or if they are new to the council. 

Step 1: Create Log In

• Read through these steps and then click on the link below: 
  You will be redirected to our Online Registration System.
• Click on Create Login in navigation bar on the left-side of the screen.
  
• Scroll down to the second set of boxes and enter your First Name, Last Name, and email address
  • If you are reregistering a girl, be sure to use her first name and last name -- each individual must create her own login.
  • These must EXACTLY match our membership database.
  • If you get a customer not found error, or if your e-mail address has changed, contact aDatabase Coordinator
  
• Once you receive the confirmation email, you can set up your own log in ID and password(at least 7 characters-alphanumeric).
• After logging in, click on My Account on the left side of the screen to update all information, especially phone numbers and e-mail addresses. We strongly encourage members to also update race and ethnicity, which is important for GSCNC reporting.
  
• Each individual member will need her own login. If you have another daughter in Girl Scouts, log out and go through the process again.

Step 2: Renew Membership

• Log in to membership registration site
  • If you are not prompted to log in, check the upper right corner of the page. If your name is there, you are already logged in.
• Click on My Account on the left side of the page.
• Select Renew in the Membership Info box.
• Update information and purchase registration

Renewing your membership will keep you in the same troop as the last year.

If you have registered and need to be transferred into a different troop, contact your Troop Leader. She will request to have the membership transferred into the correct troop.
