Who are Brownies?

Brownies are in the 2nd and 3rd grade. Brownies are fun-loving adventurers, stepping out of the family and school surroundings to learn more about themselves in relation to others. 

A typical Brownie meeting includes songs, crafts, games and exploration of new places and ideas. Brownies attend Council programs and go camping.
They earn badges, which require some skill and proficiency and gives them the opportunity to try new activities.

As a Brownie, you might ... 

• Volunteer at an animal shelter, making a nicer temporary home for the animals
• Plan and execute a community service project
• Connect with a Girl Scout who lives in a neighboring town 
• Work together to organize a Badge workshop for Daisies
• Sell cookies to pay for a trip
• Attend resident camp for a week
