Welcome to Pack 1721!

The Cub Scouts of Pack 1721 are Proud!

We are Proud of our Cub Scouts. We are Proud of our Adult Leaders. We are Proud of our commitment to serving the community and our Veterans.

Cub Pack#1721Proud! is all about fun. Pack activities include camping, fishing, archery, launching rockets, racing, field trips, sports, and earning achievement badges.  Our Pack values our commitment to community service and is proud of our strong relationship with the local Veteran organizations and we proudly support the families of those resting at the Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery.  We also very proud of our strong relationships with the surrounding township Police Departments  and our local volunteer Fire Departments.

Adventure starts with Cub Scouting which is a year-round family program designed for boys in Kindergarten (visit The 1721 Lions Pride Page! ) through 5th grades, or 5 to 10 years of age. Cub Scouts emphasize shared leadership, learning about the community, family understanding, character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. Young boys grow up fast.  Give your son a valuable gift by enrolling him in Cub Scouting today.

Cub Scout Pack 1721 is located in Woodbury, NJ.  Our Pack is chartered through The Presbyterian Church of Woodbury .  We are a member of the Old Colony District of the Garden State Council. We welcome boys from the 08096 zip code AND Cubs from ALL communities are welcome to join our Pack. The young men in our pack are from the Woodbury NJ, Deptford NJ, West Deptford NJ, Westville and Woodbury Hts NJ areas.  We also have Cubs from several of the local Elementary Schools in the surrounding areas.  We welcome young men from the West End, Evergreen, Walnut Shady Lane, Oak Valley, Pine Acres, OakView, Green-Fields,  Woodbury Heights, Parkview and  Red Bank school systems as well as anyone from the surrounding areas to participate in our Pack!

Our Scouting program year runs from September to August.  We meet at The Presbyterian Church of Woodbury located at 67 S. Broad Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. We meet as a Pack once per month and the individual Dens meet on a weekly basis from September thru May.  We have monthly activities during the summer in June, July, and August.

Some of our activities for the 2017 year will include: Spring and Fall Family Camping, Hiking, Fishing, Snow Tubing, Popcorn Fundraiser, Scouting for Food Drive, Marching in the Woodbury Fall Parade and Christmas Parade, a Family Picnic and Rocket launch, Pinewood Derby, Space Rocket Regatta, Blue and Gold Banquet, Summer Day Camp, and Summer Webelos Resident Camp.

The Highlight of the 2016 year's activities was the trip to Washington DC on June 18, 2016.   Our Pack was honored to have the opportunity to not only visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery, but to also participate in a Wreath Laying Ceremony with the assistance of the Elite Army's 3rd Infantry Regiment's "Old Guard.  We are extremely excited about this chance to honor our veteran groups during this trip!

If these activities sound like fun to your son and he wants to join our pack or you have any questions please send an email to Pack1721PCWoodury@gmail.com
