The Mason Dixon Cub Hike Club Program



Please register at the website or at Council Service Center prior to the Hike.  http://www.mason-dixon-bsa.org/

There is no cost for the hike! If you already having a walking stick, please
bring it with you. If you do not have one, don't fret!
You will still earn your beads.
The Cub Hike Club was established as a social gathering of Cub Scouts and
Adult Leaders to venture through history and follow the scouting principles of
fitness and being in the outdoors.

Things to Bring:

 

A small day pack, Back Pack or fanny pack
Sturdy shoes for walking inexpensive sneakers are not suggested
Water - please bring your water bottles filled.
Proper Clothing for the expected weather. (Dress in Layers)
A few snacks: granola bars, trail mix
Walking stick if you have one
No electronic devices (ie; Game Boys, Radios, IPods, Cell Phones, etc)

 

***Remember, what you put in your pack, you have to carry!! Keep it light!

 

Hikes are at the Following Locations:
  •  Sept 13th - Antietam National Battlefield
  •  Oct 4th - Caledonia State Park 
  •  Nov 15th - Greenbrier State Park
  •  Mar 13th - Renfrew Park, Waynesboro
  •  Apr 17th - Catoctin State Park 

All Hikes start at 2:00 pm.
